Plaud: AI Note Taker

Plaud is an innovative platform that maximizes the effectiveness of AI by providing users with a helpful note-taking companion. Trusted by 1.5 million users, Plaud delivers a significant boost to personal productivity.

The QAwerk team tested the Android Plaud app without the actual Plaud device, and we were impressed with its core functionality and architectural stability. From a usability perspective, the application appears well-organized and intuitive. The transcript reader provides a clean experience with both ‘Sources’ and ‘Notes’ tabs, and the ‘Discover’ section offers useful templates and categories. We’d also like to note that the ‘Help & Support’ flows provide effective guidance for new users.

Overall, the Plaud application shows solid design and stable behavior in the pre-device onboarding stage. After thorough testing with over 100 test cases run, we are happy to report that we found no bugs in the Plaude Android app. See our findings below.

I conducted functional and usability testing of the Plaud Android application, covering all core features when the application is not connected to a physical Plaud device. Within the accessible flows, the application demonstrated stable behavior. Core elements such as transcript viewing, audio playback, summary, and notes navigation worked as expected. No crashes or blocking functional defects were observed during these scenarios, indicating good overall stability and a mature UI architecture.
