Application enters infinite loading state upon model change in Benchmark

- Initiate the application.
- Navigate to the ‘Benchmark’ tab.
- Click ‘Start Test’.
- Access the model dropdown menu.
- Choose an alternate model.

Noticeable lag in app after several quick model switches in 'Chat'
