Scone is a powerful and highly-trusted solution that helps its users reduce carbon footprint with personalised updates, insights and offers.

The Scone App takes into account everyone’s lifestyle and paves the path to zero carbon emissions within the boundaries of each budget. One can make smarter choices by getting insights into what areas of life require improvement the most. This unique climate assistant contributes to transition to a sustainable society.

We decided to challenge the Scone development team and spotted some minor issues. The QAwerk testing team suggests strengthening the app’s operation by eliminating the following bugs.

User cannot delete post on “Community” page

Severity:

Minor

Precondition:
  1. The user is on the “Home” page.
  2. The user has created an account.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Navigate to the “Community” page.
  2. Click the “Challenges” button.
  3. Click the “Joined” button.
  4. Click the listed challenge.
  5. Click the “+” button in the bottom right corner and type any valid text.
  6. Click the “Publish” button.
  7. Click the 3 dots button next to the created post.
  8. Click the “Delete post” button.
Environment:

iPhone 13Pro iOS 16.1.1

Actual Result:

The post is still displayed in the feed.

Expected Result:

The post should be deleted from the feed.

User avatar is still displayed after deleting

  1. The user is on the “Home” page.
  2. The user has added a picture to the account.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Click the “User avatar” icon.
  2. Click the ”Remove image” button.
  3. Close and reopen the app.

User avatar picture is still displayed.

Expected Result:

User avatar picture should not be displayed.

Abrupt swipe animation on “Stars icon” page

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Navigate to the page with the “Stars icon” (3rd section).
  2. Swipe the images.
