Bugs found in Lumosity: Brain Training for iOS
Lumosity is a mind training platform that provides multiple exercises for your brain. The app contains a cognitive training program that uses fun and interactive science-based games to improve learning. Lumosity also has over 40+ game puzzles to challenge your memory, math, problem-solving, and language skills. You can set your baseline scores with a short test exercise.
The Lumosity app’s workout modes enable you to curate and personalize your training habits. You can analyze your progress to identify your core strengths and weaknesses. Lumosity for iOS is available in English, Spanish, French, German, and Korean.
Our QA team loved this cognitive learning app, so we decided to carry out thorough testing and share the results with you.
An error occurs when signing up with Facebook

- Launch the application.

- Tap the Facebook icon > Continue.
- Proceed through this flow.

Expected Result:

An error occurs when signing up with the Apple ID

Impossible to connect a Facebook account

Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch the application.
- Go to the ‘More’ tab > Account settings.
- Tap ‘Edit Account’ > Connect to Facebook.

Actual Result:
It is impossible to connect a Facebook account. An infinite loader animation appears.
Expected Result:
The Facebook account is connected successfully.
Username validation is missing

- Sign up with Apple ID.
- Set any symbol as the first name and choose the birthday.
- Tap ‘Sign up’.

The logout confirmation is missing.
Expected Result:
The user sees the logout confirmation window and is able to confirm or cancel the action.
Lumosity is a great app for brain training. The application also helps to improve memory using fun and interesting games. However, the app has some flaws when the user is trying to create an account. The Apple ID and Facebook sign-up options are flawed. Let’s hope these issues get fixed for a better user experience.
