4.7

Splice: Video Editor & Maker is a mobile solution for professional video editing accessible on the go.

Splice offers all the movie-making essentials: users can easily trim, cut, and merge photos and videos, add the needed background song or choose one from the library. On top of that, creators can mix multiple soundtracks, add text to engage with their audience, and use popular montage effects while preserving the high video quality.

QAwerk has tested plenty of apps for video content creators and influencers, so we know where to look to spot nasty bugs. Splice is a well-built app loved by users, yet it still needs a couple of touch-ups. Here is what can be improved.

This week we discovered Splice, a popular video editing tool making it easy to cut clips, add music to them, change video speed, and create a full-fledged movie or slideshow. I found a couple of bugs in the video editing interface. While they don’t affect the app’s functionality, they may deteriorate the product's first impression. To prevent issues like in this bug report, I recommend doubling the number of regression tests. The outcome will be positive, I assure you.
