Weekly Bug Crawl by QAwerk: Periscope for iOS
Everyone has heard about the app called Periscope, and lots of people use it on a daily basis. This app can be found in the lists of bests for example at Product Hunt where Periscope collected more than 3,000 votes.
QAwerk team decided to take a chance and test such a popular application as a part of our weekly bug crawl and below you can see found bugs.
A user can’t return to an application using Twitter
Trivial
- Tap on “Create New Account” or “Log In” button
- Select “Twitter” for authorization
- Tap on “Cancel” to cancel authorization via Twitter
- Tap on “Return to Periscope”

- Tap on the last icon “People“ in the tab bar
- Tap on “Account” icon in the navigation bar
- Tap on “Edit”
- Tap on the avatar
- Select “Take Photo”
- Don’t allow access to the camera

- Scroll down to last country in the list
- Select “Syria” in search result

Periscope allows you to conduct live broadcasts and tell the world about your own events. The application is very popular in use in the modern world. For the user, the first step to start using the application is a registration. Unfortunately, already at the first step the user faces a problem. At this stage critical bugs were found, not all users can easily complete the registration process.
