  1. Open the app and sign in to the user account.
  2. Click the “Community” navbar item.
  3. Disable the internet connection.
  4. Click on any post with existing replies.
Environment:

Actual Result:

“Replies (0)” title is shown below the post.

Expected Result:

Error message: “Please check your internet connection and try again” should pop up.

Username passes through “Share profile link” menu dropdown item

  2. The account is created.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Open the app and sign in to the user account.
  2. Click the user profile button top left.
  3. Click the 3-dots menu button.
  4. Click the “Edit profile” menu dropdown item.
  5. Enter a username 10+ chars long and click the “Save” button.
  6. Click the 3-dots menu button.
Environment:

Samsung Galaxy S7, Android 8.0.0

Actual Result:

The username passes through the “Share profile link” menu dropdown item.

Expected Result:

The username should not pass through the menu dropdown.

  2. Click the “Community” menu item.
  3. Click on any post.

Expected Result:

“Terms and conditions” link should be fully displayed.

  1. Open the app and sign in to the user account.
  2. Click the “Hamburger” button top right.
  3. Scroll down.
  4. Click “Log out”.

“Cancel” and “Yes, log out” buttons are cropped at the bottom.

Expected Result:

“Cancel” and “Yes, log out” buttons should be fully displayed.

During testing, several non-critical issues were found: 2 device-specific UI bugs and a missing error message about lost internet connection. My general impression of the Shmoody app is positive.
