Bugs found in Mobox Wallet for iOS
Mobox Wallet is a multi-blockchain decentralized wallet designed to ensure a seamless user experience across the Mobox metaverse, also known as MOMOverse.
MOMOverse is a GameFi ecosystem where users can design and mint their own NFTs, develop blockchain games, or simply play to earn. Mobox Wallet allows storing all crypto assets in one place and provides yield farming opportunities and a dashboard to analyze your portfolio.
QAwerk web3 testing team has been on the lookout for new Bug Crawl participants, and Mobox Wallet turned out to be the right fit. Here are the bugs we spotted after a brief round of manual testing.
Password tip contains error
Severity:
Minor
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open the app.
- Go to “Profile”.
- Tap “Login”.
- Tap “Sign up now”.
- Go to the 3rd step of registration.
Environment:
iPhone 13, iOS 15.5
Actual Result:
One of the tips for creating a password contains a typo.
Expected Result:
All password tips are free of grammar mistakes and typos.
Some elements aren’t translated
Severity:

Precondition:
Change the language settings to russian.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open the app.
- Go to “Left sidebar”.
Environment:
iPhone 13, iOS 15.5
Actual Result:
Some sections are in English.
Expected Result:
Section titles should be displayed in the language selected in settings.
Button text is cut off
Severity:
Minor
Precondition:
Change the language settings to russian.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open the app.
- Go to “Quotes”.
- Tap to “Market Cap”.
Environment:
iPhone 13, iOS 15.5
Actual Result:
Part of the button text is not visible.
Expected Result:
The button text is fully visible.
Header title text is on “Back” button
Severity:
Minor
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open the app.
- Open the left sidebar.
- Go to “Vote”.
- Tap to “MOBOX Improvement Proposal – MIP”.
Environment:
iPhone 13, iOS 15.5
Actual Result:
The header title shifted to the left, taking the button space.
Expected Result:
The title should be in the center of the header; there should be no text on the button.
Code scanner half-open
Severity:
Minor
Precondition:
The camera is not yet available.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open the app.
- Go to “Game”.
- Tap to “Scanner”.
Environment:
iPhone 13, iOS 15.5
Actual Result:
The scanner is half-open.
Expected Result:
The scanner should open completely.
Error window has Chinese text
Severity:
Minor
Precondition:
Use English in the app. MOMO address is not added.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open the app.
- Go to “Profile”.
- Tap to “Statistics”.
Environment:
iPhone 13, iOS 15.5
Actual Result:
There is text in Chinese within the error window.
Expected Result:
All text in the window is in English.
Mobox Wallet is part of an exciting decentralized ecosystem bringing together NFT designers, collectors, game developers, and metaverse enthusiasts. I performed different types of tests. As a result, I found several bugs in the app's interface. Localization testing also revealed a couple of areas not yet translated. I believe increasing the number of tests targeting UI and localization will help prevent similar defects in the future.
