Bugs found in Liquipedia for Android
Liquipedia is a top-notch app for esports enthusiasts who follow competitive gaming and want to stay up-to-date on the latest news, results, and rankings.
The platform provides real-time updates and information on various matches and tournaments across a wide range of games such as League of Legends, Dota 2, and Counter-Strike. Users can create personalized lists of their favorite matches and teams, and the app will send notifications to inform them about upcoming events.
Here are some of the Liquipedia bugs our QA team encountered while testing.
Nothing happens after using “Show following only” filter
Major
- The user is logged into the app.
- The user has followed a few teams.
- The user is on the “Home” page.
- Click any tournament in the “Discover more” section.
- Click the “Teams” button.
- Follow a few teams from the list.
- Click the “Filter” button.
- Click the “Show following only” toggle.
- Go back to the “Teams” page.

All teams are displayed.
Only following list should be displayed.
Missing notifications for match
Major
- The user is logged into the app.
- The user is on the “Home” page.
- Open any match in the “Live” section.
- Click the “Notification” link.
- Look for notification for this match.

Only match ending notification was sent.
All notifications for the match should be sent.
Unfollowed player is still displayed in “Players” section
Minor
- The user is logged into the app.
- The user is on the “Home” page.
- Follow any player in online mode (e.g. Dendi).
- Go to offline mode.
- Unfollow Dendi.
- Go back to online mode and refresh the page.
- Click the “Menu” button and check the “Players” section.

The “Follow” button is still displayed; Dendi is still displayed in the “Players” list.
The “Unfollow” button should be displayed.
I found some major bugs related to filters and notifications. In general, the app works well.
