Bugs found in Bibit for iOS: QAwerk Bug Crawl
Bibit is an Indonesian mobile solution for mutual fund investors. It was designed with a mission to make investing more accessible in Indonesia, helping people to transition from low-interest bank accounts to much more profitable liquid investments. Being a robo-advisor, the app relies on algorithms to provide financial planning services based on each user’s profile data. To be more precise, the app considers such variables as the investor’s age, income, and risk tolerance. Bibit monitors portfolios automatically to help users maintain the balance in their allocations. The registration process is super straightforward and can be finished in a matter of minutes with no bureaucracy involved. As for additional benefits, Bibit charges no commission fee for mutual fund purchases, enables unrestricted money disbursements, and is not subject to tax. Moreover, having all the time they need to grow into confident investors, Bibit users can start their investments with as low as one dollar.
Having worked with fintech innovators from Africa, we are eagerly exploring other geographies, keeping an eye on promising startups like Bibit. We have thoroughly tested the app, and here are a couple of things we believe should be tweaked.
A blank page is displayed after tapping the “Coba Lagi” button when the Internet is off

Nothing happens after tapping the “Back to Top” button on the “Search” page

- Open the app.
- Scroll the main page to the “Artikel” block.
- Select any block.
- Tap the “Menu” button on the top.
- Select the “Search” variant.
- Tap the “Back to Top” button.

Actual Result:
Nothing happens.
Expected Result:
The user is redirected to the “Artikel” block.
The user cannot open the bot from the first attempt by tapping the “Chant Dengan Tim Bibit” button

The video block on the Video tab is not displayed, resulting in a blank space between the video title and description

- Swipe to the “Video” tab on the top.
- Open any block.
- Get back to the app.

There is an empty block between the article title and the rest of the text.
Expected Result:
The video block is displayed and there are no visual defects on the page.
Bibit is the right app to start your investment journey. It’s clean in design and super easy to get the hang of. Overall, a well-built app with only a couple of bugs, such as a non-responding button and improper video display. The latter, however, are low-impact issues because they do not affect the business logic of the app. With continuous QA effort, Bibit will not only provide frictionless investment service but also attract businesses investing in the app itself.
