Trainual

Trainual is a SaaS business management platform that facilitates every company’s organizational process. The SaaS platform helps diverse teams to monitor, delegate, and arrange tasks on one concise platform.

With Trainual, companies can curate every aspect of employee activity, from onboarding to offboarding (if necessary). They can also monitor and curate their business strategies on the platform.

The Trainual app is compatible with all Android, iOS, and desktop devices. The Chrome extension is also available.

Our team became fascinated with the app and decided to carry out a detailed bug crawl. Check out the report below.

The 'Status' filter does not work correctly

Precondition:

An active account is needed. Multiple users with different statuses.

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Visit the site https://trainual.com/.
  2. Log in to the system.
  3. Click on ‘Users’ in the menu.
  4. Observe users with different statuses. There are active, pending, and archived profiles.
  5. Click on the ‘Filters’ button and select the ‘Archived’ status in the dropdown menu.
  6. Click on ‘Apply’.
  7. Observe the ‘No data available in table’ notification.
  8. Click on the ‘Filters’ button again.
  9. Choose the ‘Pending’ status in the dropdown menu.
  10. Click on ‘Apply’.
  11. Observe users with the ‘Pending’ and ‘Archived’ statuses.

The link does not open an email for writing a letter

  6. Open ‘HOW TO USE THIS TEMPLATE (DELETE THIS TOPIC BEFORE PUBLISHING)’.
  7. Scroll down to ‘How to Use this Template’.
  8. Click on ‘[email protected]’.

  4. Search for the ‘Authority Magazine: 3 Non-Intuitive Marketing Strategies To Grow Your Business with Jonathan Ronzio of Trainual’ title.
  5. Open this title.
  6. Scroll to the end of the text.
  7. Mouseover ‘Authority Magazine’.
  8. Observe two links in the ‘Authority Magazine’.
  9. Click on ‘Authority Magazine’ and click on ‘e!’.
  10. Both links redirect to the same page.

Expected Result:

Trainual is an excellent workflow organization SaaS application. The platform is easy to use and provides detailed insights. But while using Trainual, I discovered that the status filters were glitchy. Other minor UI issues like identical links and non-uniform block heights also affect the user experience when using the platform.
