Bugs found in Over the Reality for iOS
Over the Reality is an AR platform powered by the Ethereum blockchain. The OVR team divided the earth into 1.6 trillions of hexagons, each representing an OVRLand.
The players can purchase OVRLands by participating in auctions to flip them, rent them out to content creators, or promote their artwork or business. Users can discover new things around them and explore AR experiences depending on their geolocations. The app also provides treasure hunts and play-to-earn opportunities as simple as scanning physical locations with a smartphone.
Lately, our QAwerk team has been into metaverse testing, so exploring the OVR app seemed the right thing to do. Here are some issues we found after one round of manual testing.

Over is a great tool for immersing oneself in a virtual world and experiencing AR to the fullest. At the very start of using the app, I stumbled on issues, such as the app getting locked and the ability to use a fake email. These bugs are not showstoppers but may scare off potential consumers. Regression and exploratory testing should be regular to prevent bugs like in the report. I'd also recommend investing more time in test documentation to monitor progress easily.
