Bugs found in Loom for iOS
Loom is a video messaging app for resolving work-related issues in a more efficient way. Loom reimagines the future of communication by replacing standard text messages with instant video messages that take less time, yet add much more clarity to the delivered content. With Loom, users can record their screens and camera, and share those videos in a few taps without the need to type lengthy emails. One more great feature this app has is that the video content can be neatly organized into folders and accessed on-the-go.
Considering the rising popularity of remote work tools, we couldn’t but take some time and scan Loom for bugs. Here are the bugs we managed to spot during the first round of express testing.

Loom is a smart choice for anyone in need of a convenient screen recorder and a video messaging tool in one app. Although it is designed for busy adults counting every minute of their time, the app is so simple in use that it’s the right fit even for kids. The bugs I managed to catch are not critical, and they mostly concern validation error messages and UI issues; at the same time, they are part of the user journey and therefore should be attended to.
