PalGo’s functionality includes resources enabling you to list services, sell products, and rent things, all with a user-friendly interface and technologically advanced features. With a PalGo profile, users can have ratings and reviews, followers and likes, upload videos, showcase their crafts, etc.

The QAwerk team has tested PalGo as a part of our Bug Crawl project. We discovered several bugs that could affect the platform’s performance, and we would like to share our work results.

User cannot invite guest to property through email invitation

Severity:

Major

Precondition:
  1. The user has created an account.
  2. The user is on the “Home” page.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Open any property page.
  2. Navigate to the “Property Guest”.
  3. Click on the “Invite Guest” button.
  4. Select “Invite by Email”.
  5. Fill all fields with the valid data.
  6. Click “Select Recipients”.
  7. Click on the “Email” field.
  8. Type in the valid email.
  9. Click on the “Invite” button.
Environment:

Device: iPhone 13 Pro
iOS : 17.4.1

Actual Result:

The “Invitation Failed” message is displayed.

Expected Result:

The user should be invited successfully.

User cannot change avatar from device gallery

Severity:

Major

Precondition:
  1. The user has created an account.
  2. The user is on the “Home” page.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Navigate to the “Profile” page.
  2. Click on the “Add Avatar” button.
  3. Click on the “Edit Profile Photo” button.
  4. Select “Upload Picture”.
  5. Select a photo from your gallery.
Environment:

Device: iPhone 13 Pro
iOS : 17.4.1

Actual Result:

Nothing happens.

Expected Result:

The profile avatar should be changed.

“Report” icon overlaps “Next Slide” icon

Severity:

Minor

Precondition:
  1. The user has created an account.
  2. The user is on the “Home” page.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Open any property page.
  2. Click on the photo of the property.
  3. Click on the “Next Slide” icon.
Environment:

Device: iPhone 13 Pro
iOS : 17.4.1

Actual Result:

The “Report” icon overlaps the “Next Slide” icon.

Expected Result:

Nothing should overlap.

During the PalGo app testing, I found several major and minor functional bugs. I recommend conducting regression testing after each release.
