Bugs found in Friends & Dragons Puzzle RPG for iOS
Dungeons, dragons, and heroic Champions challenge your strategic thinking in Friends & Dragons Puzzle RPG, a turn-based game where every move matters. With over 200 collectible heroes, puzzle combat mechanics, and co-op guild action, players experience tactical depth paired with fantasy flair.
The game combines RPG depth with accessible design, supporting team-based campaigns, legendary loot hunts, and weekly heroic challenges. Players build, ascend, and optimize their squads through dynamic battles that rely on grid movement and real-time decision-making.
Recently, the QAwerk team conducted a Bug Crawl of Friends & Dragons Puzzle RPG for iOS. While overall stability was solid, our audit uncovered several UI and UX issues that could hinder early impressions and international usability.
Gamecenter and Playsome connection gets stuck if user cancels connection
Severity:
Major
Precondition:
- App installed.
- Tutorial passed.
- Gamecenter and PlaySome are not connected.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open Friends & Dragons Puzzle RPG.
- Open Settings.
- Tap on Gamecenter or PlaysomeID.
- Cancel sync with Gamecenter or PlaysomeID.
Environment:
iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 18.1.1
Actual Result:
Gamecenter and Playsome connection gets stuck if the user cancels the connection.
Expected Result:
User should be able to sync with Gamecenter or PlaysomeID even after cancelling the first try.
Tutorial tip overlaps character preview screen

Steps to Reproduce:
- Open Friends & Dragons Puzzle RPG.
- Proceed to tutorial step “Retaking the town”.
- Open any Character preview during the tutorial step.
Environment:
iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 18.1.1
Actual Result:
Tutorial tip overlaps character preview screen.
Expected Result:
The Tutorial should be clearly visible and follow the user step by step.
Featured and Today tabs in shop are empty

Steps to Reproduce:
- Open Friends & Dragons Puzzle RPG.
- Open Shop.
- Review Featured and Today tabs.

Actual Result:
Featured and Today tabs in the shop are empty.
Expected Result:
Empty menus should be hidden or populated with purchasable items.
Uninterpreted text not localized in Deutsch

- Go to Settings.
- Change language to Deutsch.
- Browse other menus.

Uninterpreted text and untranslated strings in Deutsch.
Expected Result:
All text should be translated into the selected language.
Some strings remain untranslated after switching language back to English

Friends & Dragons offers a fun and stable RPG experience, but localization errors, stuck integrations, and overlapping UI can harm user trust. Resolving these issues will polish onboarding, improve accessibility, and boost early retention.
