Bugs found in Aptien SaaS
Aptien is a work management software designed specifically for small and medium-sized businesses. It aims to streamline various aspects of team operations, including project management, task execution, employee management, and equipment tracking, all within a single, user-friendly platform.
Core features of Aptien include tools for project planning and execution, employee onboarding and management, and asset tracking. The cloud-based solution offers easy accessibility from anywhere, eliminating the need for any software installation.
Our QA engineers thoroughly tested Aptien and encountered several issues. Our findings are detailed in the report below.
Email is not accepted

- Open Aptien.
- Proceed to account registration.
- Enter a valid email.
- Proceed further.
- Notice that the email is not accepted.

The email is not accepted.
Expected Result:
The system should either accept all valid email addresses or provide an explanation to the user on why a particular email address is not acceptable.
Back button has no functionality

Steps to Reproduce:
- Open Aptien.
- Browse through the web application.
- Click the back button in the browser.
- Notice that the back button has no functionality.

The back button does not trigger any action.
Expected Result:
The back button should redirect the user to the previous page.
Inability to change timezone to Ukraine via map

Steps to Reproduce:
- Open Aptien.
- Proceed to account registration.
- Complete first step of registration.
- Proceed to timezone selection.
- Click on the “Map” icon.
- Select the timezone with Ukraine.
- Notice that Timezone cannot be changed to Ukraine timezone via map.

The app does not allow the selection of Ukraine’s timezone via the map.
Expected Result:
The app should allow the user to change the timezone to the one selected on the map.
Price for Premium and Enterprise subscriptions displayed as 0 upon entering 9999999 seat number

- Proseed to pricing.
- Enter 9999999 seats.
- Notice that the price for premium and enterprise subscriptions is displayed as 0 upon entering 9999999 seat number.

The price for Premium and Enterprise subscriptions is displayed as 0 upon entering 9999999 seat number.
Expected Result:
There should either be a limitation set for the number of seats, or the price should be updated accordingly to reflect the correct amounts for larger seat quantities.
I found three major bugs that make it hard for new users to sign up. However, once you're registered, Aptien looks like a powerful tool that helps businesses manage everything they do.
